About Reid Webster
History

Reid graduated from Western Oregon University and remained in the restaurant industry for 10 more years. While he gained extensive food and wine service knowledge, the demands of the restaurant business was more than his family was willing to tolerate. 

He started Design Cuisine in 1999 upon moving to Vancouver, Washington. Since then he has catered events from 4 to 200 people ranging in occasions from Elegant Outdoor Weddings to Florida Neighborhood New Years Day Brunch to small private dinner parties.

 

Reid Today

When he is not providing chef service for adults, he works for the Vancouver School District Nutritional Services serving elementary school children. He is a favorite among the kids at Walnut Grove Elementary.

The holidays and summer are Reid's busies catering times of the year with holiday parties, weddings and rehearsal dinners.  He has recently started conducting private cooking schools in the homes of his clients for smaller groups and this service is gaining popularity.

When he is not working, cooking for his wife, Laura and daughter, Sydney- you will find him in his boat on the Columbia River likely fishing for you next dinner!
